WHAT PERSISTENCE MEANS
The world record lives outside the savegame.
In AGRAVIUM, persistence means important relationships are stored as durable world records rather than existing only inside an FS25 save, a Discord nickname, or a temporary server configuration.
A player identity can remain the same over time. A company can retain its founding relationship and authority model. Future assets can carry ownership history. Contracts can have a beginning, obligation, settlement, and outcome. Region membership can be historical instead of simply overwritten when a player moves.
THE WORLD BRIDGE
FS25 gameplay should report into the world—not become the world database itself.
The planned FS25 World Bridge is the boundary between Farming Simulator gameplay and AGRAVIUM's persistent systems. Its purpose is to verify supported in-game activity and translate it into governed world events without making the game server the sole source of identity or authorization.
This separation is what allows the persistent world to survive maintenance, server changes, map changes, role changes, and future integrations. It also lets AGRAVIUM apply the same company authority rules to website actions, Discord commands, and verified gameplay events.
HISTORY, NOT JUST STATE
A living world needs a record of how it changed.
AGRAVIUM is being designed around historical relationships and event records rather than only the latest value in a database. Company memberships, authority grants, future region participation, ownership, contracts, and economic actions should be able to tell a story about what happened and when.
That history creates the foundation for reputation, legacy, lending decisions, company growth, market context, and meaningful player progression later. It is also why we are deliberately building identity and governance before releasing large gameplay systems.
FOUNDATION STATUS
Persistence is already present in the architecture, even while the wider world is still being built.
Production AGRAVIUM currently has persistent identities, Discord connections, companies, owner relationships, company roles, capability grants, and a world-region relationship model. No production region has been invented simply to make the site look more complete.
Active world regions, region onboarding, the FS25 World Bridge, assets, contracts, logistics, markets, and finance will be layered onto that foundation in later releases and tested in Preview before production deployment.
