CONTRACTS AS RELATIONSHIPS
Work should connect two companies, not disappear after a payout.
Contracts in a persistent world can do more than generate a one-time job. AGRAVIUM's planned contract layer is intended to preserve who requested the work, which company accepted it, who had authority to commit that company, what the obligation required, and how the outcome settled.
That persistent record can make contracting part of the wider company economy instead of a temporary task that leaves no relationship or history behind.
MORE TYPES OF WORK
A connected economy creates work beyond harvesting another field.
AGRAVIUM's Work system already connects farms, contractors, carriers, and other companies through persistent obligations. Field operations and the first hauling specialization share the same contract, authority, review, and payment foundation.
The same architecture can expand into equipment movement, supply deliveries, production inputs, freight, and other specialized obligations without creating a separate job system for every kind of work.
AUTHORITY + ACCEPTANCE
The person accepting a contract should actually be allowed to bind the company.
AGRAVIUM already uses capability-based company authority. That matters for future contracts because a player can be a company member without automatically having permission to accept obligations, spend company resources, sell assets, or direct other operations.
The same authority model can be reused across the website, Discord bot, and future FS25 integrations so contract decisions do not depend on a display name or a separate set of rules in each interface.
VERIFICATION + SETTLEMENT
A future contract can settle from evidence instead of only an admin decision.
AGRAVIUM Core and the World Bridge already contribute governed evidence to supported field-work execution, while employer review and the payment ledger preserve the commercial decision and settlement history.
Verification depth still varies by work type. Hauling cargo pickup and delivery are not yet independently proven by FS25 telemetry, so AGRAVIUM keeps that boundary explicit rather than treating a player action as automatic physical proof.
